TVF is looking like a winner again. The platform, one of the forerunners of creating digital and streaming content in India is taking one of its initial web series, ImMature to Canneseries. Canneseries – The Cannes International Series Festival will run from 4 to 11 April this year. Canneseries Digital will be the competition dedicated to short formats and will take place on 11 April. The event is an endeavour to highlight and show case web series from all over the world.

According to TVF Brand Partnership head Vijay Koshy, the upcoming web series ImMature is a coming of age story about the many adventures that a young man faces while growing up.  Sameer Saxena is the creator of this slice of life web series, and Abhishek Yadav writes while Prem Mistry directs.  The cast is made of Omkar Kulkarni, Rashmi Agdekar, Chinmay Chandraunshuh and Visshesh Tiwari.

This is a breakthrough for the Indian streaming platforms. With imMature becoming one of the first web series to go to the Cannes, it is only giving more heft to digital programming from India and giving it an international platform.
