Short films are a rage. With several short films launching every day, it’s difficult for a content creator to rise above. So, when a short film does that, it deserves a mention. Here’s our complete review of the short film that stands out, Chaska.

Chaska begins with a young boy who’s only happiness in life trying to frighten people in the building that his mother works in. The boy soon meets a young man, who barely tolerates him and plays along with his games just once. However, life takes a weird spin and results in something that the young man wasn’t ready for.

What’s Wow : The story idea is great. It stands out because the entire concept is made on a shoestring budget and doesn’t have any razzmatazz normally seen in short films. The direction is crisp and brings the story right well. This is a horror film, so the sound direction must be flawless – and luckily it is. Gagan Meshram does a wondering job of directing this short film. The writer Manish weaves an interesting story.
