Netflix has gone ahead and cancelled the premiere of their superhit series, 13 Reasons Why Season 2 in wake of the Santa Fe school shooting, that left at least ten dead.  The premiere would have been attended by Katherine Langford, Dylan Minnette, Kate Walsh, Alisha Boe, Christian Navarro, Brandon Flynn, Miles Heizer, Justin Prentice, Ross Butler and more. It would also be attended by the executive producer Selena Gomez.

13 Reasons Why has garnered enough controversy because of the issues that it has taken up, including gun violence, school bullying and sexual assault. The first season was criticized for the alleged glorification of suicide and later, the series was criticized for being one of the few created media that gave details about suicide and how to commit it.

Meanwhile the actors who have portrayed characters in the show have come to Twitter to urge the Government and authorities to take some steps against the insane shootings that have rocked the country since decades.

The series is now streaming on Netflix and only the premiere has been cancelled.
