Actor Jitendra Kumar, who is a constant in most The Viral Fever series, is all set to go the Bollywood way. The actor will be seen in an upcoming film Chaman Bahaar. It is set in Chhattisgarh, and Jitendra will be essaying the character of Billu, the owner of a paan shop.
Jitendra falls in love with a pretty school girl, who lives in a house opposite to his shop. Talking about his character Jitendra said that his character goes through a lot of emotion and that is exactly what made him say yes to the film in the first place. All the guys in the locality meet at his shop to catch a glimpse of the girl, while Jitendra watches in silence. He also suffers heartbreak, without the girl’s awareness.
As per the director of the film, Apurva Dhar Badgaiyann, it is a fun romantic satire. He has previously assisted well known director Prakash Jha on Aarakshan and Raajneeti. Siddharth Anand Kumar, VP, TV and Films, Saregama and Yoodlee Films, said that the film is a tragi-comic love story, and the milieu of a small town, on the cusp of change, makes it even more interesting.
