Palak Jain’s The Buddy Project aired for seventeen seasons and was one of the most popular series on Channel V. Post this, she was signed up for an ALTBalaji web series, Judaai. Judaai would have brought together Karan Singh Grover and her together, but that is not to be. According to reports, Palak Jain has left the show after waiting for shooting to start. Even Karan Singh Grover had dates only from December 2017 to February 2018.
Now, with Palak quitting just before the show could go on floors, the future of this ALTBalaji project seems in the lurch. Sources say that Palak will be looking for TV projects rather than concentrate on web series for the moment. Palak is quite popular in the TV circuit, after being part of series like Kahin Kissii Roz, Sunaina, Do Hanson ka Jodaa, Veer Shivaji and others. She was last seen in the series Laado 2 on Colors TV.
Karan Singh Grover was last seen with Bipasha Basu in the 2015 film Alone and then in the erotic thriller Hate Story 3 in the same year.
Meanwhile ALTBalaji has several projects that about to launch soon or have launched to positive reviews. Nimrat Kaur’s The Test Case has won over the critics and fans. Haq Se, the latest to hit the streaming platforms on Feb 2 also looks good. Initial reactions to the series are positive.
