Ellen DeGeneres is back! After 15 years of interviewing celebrities, scaring them, spreading love and laughter and most importantly, changing lives forever, Ellen is back to her old ways. Oh no, The Ellen DeGeneres show is not going off air (heaven forbid). Her first stand-up special in a decade and half, Relatable, will start streaming on Netflix on 18th December. The streaming giant has released the trailer.

Ellen, Forbes’ 15th highest paid celebrity, started doing stand-ups in early 1980s and within a few years, was being called the funniest person in America. Watching her over the years, hosting Emmy Awards, Grammy Awards, Academy Awards and also reading books written by her, we wonder how she never ceases to be funny. Ellen’s previous stand-up shows were HBO’s Ellen DeGeneres: The Beginning (2000) and Ellen DeGeneres: Here and Now (2013).

Filmed at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall, ‘Relatable’ will have Ellen giving viewers a taste of all the awesomeness few might have missed back in the day. The world of stand-up had been devoid of her style of humor that is not just personal but timeless. Even if one watches Ellen’s old stand-up shows today, laughter is guaranteed. More on Ellen’s ‘Relatable’ coming soon on The Digital Hash.
