After Marvel’s pulling off the plug on Netflix series, Netflix has teamed up with DC to bring to out-of-America audiences Titans, a series that promises action, intensity and entertainment.

Netflix is having a vague future with the Marvel series, but it seems to have a winner with Titans, the DC web series that hits the streaming platform on January 11. The series comprises of the younger DC characters, the likes of Robin, Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy. The second trailer has dropped and looks like Netflix and DC have got it right this time.

The trailer oozes emotion, intensity and is followed with an epic background soundtrack that’s in Hans Zimmer region.  This series is not a Netflix Original though. It started streaming on October 2 on DC Universe, DC’s own streaming platform and will stream in foreign countries on Netflix. The series is a 11 episoder, so that makes it a complete season by Netflix standards. The series stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Minka Kelly and Alan Ritchson.

The Titans franchise has been a successful one for DC, with it spawning off other properties like Teen Titans. Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Greg Walker, and John Fawcett executive produce. The series is produced by Goldsman’s Weed Road Pictures, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television.
