You know that the digital medium will see new highs every day when Bollywood takes cognizance of it. Many A-list actors from the Hindi film industry are taking out dates from their ‘oh-so-busy’ schedules to debut on this upcoming and evolving medium. Want to know who are these digitally-upgraded guys, here’s the list.

Vivek Oberoi: Being one of the first Bollywood male actors to take the digital plunge, Vivek did a fantabulous job as Vikrant Dhawan – owner of a leading sports management companies in the cricket drama ‘Inside Edge‘. As to what coaxed him to say yes to the new medium, Vivek had shared that he could push the boundaries (pun definitely intended) as an actor, which he could never have in the films.

Kalki Koechlin: Kalki Koechlin is a digital star and how!!! Be it acting in Y-Films’ Man’s World or coming out with short films of slam poetry on topics that appeal to her like Noise and Printing Machine, Kalki has been there and done that. She will be seen next in Smoke, a web series based on drug mafia and politics in Goa, wherein her co-stars will be Mandira Bedi, Tom Alter and Neil Bhoopalam.

Saif Ali Khan: Saif Ali Khan, who has been trolled much for his nepotism remarks, will make his web debut with Netflix’s Sacred Games. The series – set amid the chaos of Mumbai – will explore the corrupt underworld lurking beneath India’s economic renaissance, wherein Saif will play cop Sartaj Singh.

Shraddha Kapoor: The ‘Half Girlfriend’ star will soon make her digital presence felt with Kabir Khan’s The Forgotten Army based on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Azad Hind Fauj. Buzz is Shraddha will play the role of a freedom fighter leading the only women fighting infantry unit in the history of wars, called the Rani Jhansi regiment of The Fauj. Apart from this being her first web series, Shraddha will be working with Kabir for the very first time. She will play the titular role in Haseena Parkar.

Parineeti Chopra: Much prior than her cousin Priyanka Chopra decide to produce a web series, Parineeti Chopra was already part of one. The Ishaqzaade star was part of the satirical Y-Films offering Man’s World. Buzz is that she is also being considered for Kabir Khan’s The Forgotten Army, though Shraddha is reportedly Kabir’s choice.

Taking a cue from these ‘innovative celebs’, the list of Bollywood stars entering the digital medium is increasing and how. The Digital Hash hopes that it transforms into better content and more entertainment too. Cheers!
