Joining the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime, ALTBalaji, Voot and Viu, Zee has launched its over-the-top (OTT) video streaming platform called ZEE5.
Creating more awareness about ZEE5, a marketing campaign has been launched on Twitter. Titled ZEE5meinFeelHai, it features a video that runs approximately 3 minutes.

The platform will also host music, live TV, health and lifestyle content across 12 different languages. The ZEE5 app is available for Android and iOS devices, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick and Chromecast. It is also available at www.zee5.com and as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
“Digital will play a critical role in fueling this growth and we wanted to ensure that we had a strong offering and presence in the space. To us, ZEE5 is the platform on which this content will be readily available to the world,” said Amit Goenka, CEO – ZEE International and Z5 Global.
Zee says its ZEE5 app offers 1, 00,000 hours of On Demand content including exclusive originals, movies, TV shows, music, health and lifestyle content. It will also have a Live TV offering with 90+ popular Live TV channels. The app supports 12 languages including English, Hindi, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Bhojpuri, Gujarati and Punjabi, which will make it accessible across the country.
The app relies on a freemium model where both free and paid content will reside. The paid content will be available to those subscribing to the ZEE5 subscription pack priced at a special launch price of Rs 99 per month. The actual monthly pack will be priced at Rs 150.
