YouTube wants kids to read more books on their website with #ReadAlong

02 . Jun . 2017
Reading Time: 1 minute

If the headline is a bit confusing, its because digital entities evolve fast and diversely. And to prove the above statement correct, YouTube has collaborated with Harper Collins, Pengiun Random House, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and National Geographic Kids to create digital content that promotes reading. The project will have read-along videos and a series of book reviews by kids for kids.

Also, content from the publishers mentioned above will be available on YouTube Kids app  throughout June. This is the second year of the campaign. Last year, the campaign was restricted to English-speaking users only. This year, the campaign will have a global focus and target Spanish and Portugese speakers.
