With consumers watching digital and streaming content, platforms are looking for newer and better ways to keep them entertained. YouTube, who seems to fast becoming just one of the streaming platforms today is now trying to use Virtual Reality to keep audiences hooked. In a bid to keep audiences hooked, YouTube is offering a VR version of The Confessional, a new show that stars Trevor Noah, Judd Apatow and Howie Mandel.
While watching something in VR might be a great experience, it is not without it’s issues. One would need a Virtual Reality device and then also, there is that question about how comfortable people would be watching something with device wrapped around their eyes. But other companies are jumping on the VR bandwagon. Other Google partners are Vogue and National Football League.
