Anil Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment is now looking at the streaming market in India, which is currently undergoing a great evolution.
Trade buzz is that Reliance Entertainment is looking at relaunching its streaming service, BigFlix, which was first launched in 2008 and has seen a couple of re-launches. The site and service has always been there since then, but there has been no noise about it for a while. That might change now. Rumours are that Reliance Entertainment is looking at getting international content – putting them at par with their competitors, Amazon Prime and Netflix. The service is currently offering a month free.
Will BigFlix do the magic this time around? Time will tell.
