The Screen Patti has come out with a new series TSP Weekends. Banking on the idea and the need for the weekend that most office goers feel, the series revolves around three friends- Kevin Pari and PPT.

Pari is the love-lorn guy, while Kevin lifts his mood. PPT is that guy who reads Corporate Chanakya and very dedicated to his work. When the three are expected to work on a weekend for a client meet, everyone is unhappy. Eventually only Pari gets a holiday and he manages to get a match on Tinder, the online dating app.

Everything goes smoothly on the date, until Pari gets a call from Kevin. The typical guy banter on the phone irritates Pari’s otherwise calm date and dumps him. And the three are back to square one.

What’s Wow? The introduction scene of the three characters itself is very engaging and you know what to expect from the series. This as a feature is very central to the series, in the first two episodes itself you know how much every character is going to contribute in the future episodes. What stands out in the series is the fact that the characters are relatable; the tone of the series is very quirky. All the actors have done their job really well.

What Blah?:  There is nothing unappealing in the series.

Parting Shot: Weekends is a fairly decent attempt at putting together the idea of corporate weekend onscreen. There is something for everyone to relate to in the two episodes of the series.
