There’s  a glut of web series and short film about urbane young men and their love lives. Understandably, anyone wanting to make a series in this genre needs to up their game to stand out of the crowd.  Naming a series ‘Love, Sex aur Viagra’ is a good beginning, but does the film-maker succeed in taking this same quirkiness ahead? We find out.

LSV is the story of three boys who live in the same house. One of them is in a romantic relationship with a girl who lives with her doctor-cousin. Now, many outlets will say that this series is ‘shocking’, ‘bold’ and ‘controversial’. But one look at the first episode well tell you that the show is much more than just controversial – it is interesting.

What’s Hot: The premise is hot for some tomfoolery, flirting, dressing room language, and that’s part for the course nowadays. The performances are quite good. The screenplay is engaging and keeps the audience interested – even if just mildly. The premise of the show may be old now, but the actors bring a different kind of vibrancy to the show.

What’s Blah: The premise is a go-to premise for the short film-makers nowadays. We would have liked a newer premise.

Parting Shot: This one has potential.
