We, at TheDigitalHash.com, still can’t get over Kangana Ranaut’s tie up with AIB to promote her film Simran. That her film bombed badly is something we can’t overlook. And now Saif Ali Khan too has collaborated with FilterCopy to promote his Bollywood film Chef along with Svar Kamble – who also stars in the film.

But this (Bollywood coming to digital to promote their upcoming film) is an event happening way too often. While it translates to better marketing for the film, many times it means we digital audiences have a feast spread out for us. Keeping in mind some of such recent collaborations, TheDigitalHash.com has picked out 5 best for you to binge on.

  1. Chef

For a film which explores the father-son relationship, Chef’s collaboration with FilterCopy is aptly titled 7 Reasons Why Your Dad Is Your Best Friend. Saif is the cool-dude-attitude dad, which you will fall in love with.

  1. Simran

How can anyone describe this tie-up? Kangana played a strong woman in Simran, and to portray that on the web she donned the hat of a diva in this AIB video. While the film bombed (ouch), The Bollywood Diva rendition will stay with us, forever.

  1. Newton

Rajkummar Rao tied up with Filter Copy to promote his recent release Newton, which is now India’s official entry to the Oscars. This is obviously another extension of Rajkummar’s excellent acting. He does the classic ‘what we want to say & what we actually say’ feature in the most perfect manner.

  1. Toilet: Ek Prem Katha

Starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, who played lovers and later couple in the social message wali film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, this rendition of ‘before and after marriage’ in association with MissMalini is the best screenplay (literally) to promote a film.

  1. Bhoomi

Sanjay Dutt finally visited Sanket Bhosale at Baba Ki Chowki. This was a collaboration that we were waiting to happen, and finally Sanjay’s Bhoomi gave us this chance. The film didn’t do much wonders, but Sanket was at his best – mimicking Ajay Devgan, Ranbir Kapoor, and obviously Salman Khan (his ‘shooting kar raha hun’ dialogue).

These are our top five videos from Bollywood and digital marketing collaboration, does it need any addition let us know.
