One of the most anticipated and watched web series, The Walking Dead will soon make inroads into Netflix with their latest season, the eighth one. The Walking Dead had a series finale on their home network, AMC. Post the April 15 finale date, the latest series could debut on Netflix on September 8. Currently, all the seasons of the zombie-drama are streaming on Netflix.

While Netflix will stream the series in September, the next season of The Walking Dead may stream star streaming in October, which will allow fans to binge watch all the eight seasons on Netflix before going on view the ninth season on AMC. The Walking Dead is one of the most popular web series ever, and its fan base is right up there with the other Netflix web series like Black Mirror and the Marvel spin-offs like Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist.

Netflix has also been working on getting other network content on their streaming platform since a while, making it a platform of series instead of a streaming platform. Recently, Netflix added immensely popular series like Lost and others to their inventory.  The series is based on a book by Robert Kikrman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. It has one of the largest starcast that has remained more or less the same since it first premiered in 2010.
