This is just another addition to the recent spate of controversies that short films and films have fallen in. Just last year, people had issues with the film Padmavat, which was originally titled Padmavati but the name was changed later on. Before that, a particular section of the society took offence at the portrayal of historical characters in the film Bajirao Mastani.
Agnihotri made his debut as a director in 2005 with Chocolate and then went on to make films like Dhan Dhana Dhan Gol, Hate Story, Zid, and in 2016, he made Buddha in a Traffic Jam and Junooniyat.
