Venika Mitra’s ‘All I Want’ Goes to Cannes

Venika Mitra’s ‘All I Want’ has made it to the Cannes after winning several accolades all over the world. The film was selected for Beyond Borders: Diversity in Cannes Short Film. It has been chosen among 231 submissions from a total of 30 countries.  The film was raised via personal crowdfunding.

The film tells the story of a street urchin, Ratan, and his adventures to buy a mango. The film promises to be a blunt look into the lives of the people who live on the street and give a glimpse of their ambitions and the struggle they have to go through everyday to get the most basic of requirements.

Oscar Winner Resul Pookutty is also a part of the film.
