TVF has released the teaser of its next – Kota Factory. It opens with prayers written on walls. The camera pans to show scribbles all over – ‘Please IIT Delhi’, ‘IIT Bombay mein Top rank dilwa do bhagwaan’, ‘IIT Kharagpur mein admission ho jae’ – interspersed with visuals of hoardings across the city, shouting out names of Coaching Classes for competitive exams. We are taken back to the scribbled wall, and the camera stops panning to reveal the statue of god. We hear a voice over – ‘Yahaan aake kissi bacche ka selection ho na ho, par yahaan aake bhi jiska nahin hua, uska hona hi nahin tha’.

‘Kota Factory’ takes a look at lives of Kota’s students, its coaching center industry, and the ups and downs of IIT JEE preparations, through the story of a 16 year old who moves to the city with hopes of clearing the JEE and getting into an IIT. The show follows his journey as he learns to cope and compete under pressure with the help of his friends, teachers and Unacademy.

Coming soon on TVF, its cast and crew details are yet to be confirmed.
