Transparent, the unapologetically politically incorrect series has become the longest running series on Amazon Prime. The fourth season of the gender-bender series will start streaming at the end of September and talks about the life of a family whose main man is now a woman – a transgender, divorced father of three.

The series debuted in 2014 and has now become the mainstay of Amazon Prime, even 3 years after the first episode debuted.  Not just that, the people over at Big N will now see a fifth season renewal too.

There’s every reason for Transparent to become an Amazon darling. It is the first Amazon Studios production to win a major award. It is also the first  Amazon Studios show to win a Golden Globe for best series.
