The young star Timothee Chalamet is having a great time in his career. After being nominated for the Oscars for his role in Call Me By Your Name, Timothee is all set to play King Henry V in Netflix film The King. He will play a young Henry V, who takes over the throne after his brother is killed in the battle ground. The second English monarch of the House of Lancaster wears the crown at a time when England was near a war with France, and the empire is teetering. He rises to the occasion, admirably.
For information, Timothee started his acting career in short films and appeared in the series Homeland. He also has to his name films such as Jason Reitman’s Men, Women & Children and most notably Christopher Nolan’s Science fiction film Interstellar.
Coming back to The King, the film’s script is written by David Michôd and Bright star Joel Edgerton. David has also directed the film. The film will go into production in June this year, in the UK and Hungary. Besides being available for streaming on Netflix, The King will also have a theatrical release.
