The comedy web series ‘Stupid Idiots’, written, directed by and starring Stepahnie Koenig will soon hit TV screens. Paramount Television and Anonymous Content have acquired the rights for the series. Koenig is also pitched to act in the TV adaptation, which will be about two underachievers who fail to get promotions, get ahead in life, that sort of thing. Koenig’s co-star in the web version is Brian Jordan. No word on whether he will be part of the TV adaptation too. Michael Sugar and Ashley Zalta will be executive producers for the series.

This is the second web-series that’s got a traditional TV nod. Another series, Broad City is now running its 3rd season, with word of a 4th  and a 5th season already out.
