Short Films are still in vogue, even though web series and feature length films are hitting the streaming platforms with regularity. Short films generally give the makers a kind of freedom that can be used to put across a point in a succinct and concise manner.

In this short, a man who’s sentenced to death reveals his last request, to meet his friend. The discussion veers from the personal rapport that the two share and hints at the reason behind the man’s condemnation.

What’s Wow: The direction and the screenplay are excellent and keeps you enraptured until the very end. This is one of the few films in which the art direction plays a major role in the story – because of it, the audiences don’t know the era in which the story is set, creating ambiguity about the agendas of both the characters on screen.

What’s Blah:  Nothing.

Parting Shot: Rihaa is an interesting watch that keeps the audience intrigued, if not enthralled.
