Bullying is a big problem for students all over the world. In the 90s, India was shocked because of the deaths caused by ragging, and special laws were made for the same. However, one cannot say that bullying and ragging are completely phased out. This video is about how ragging, and bullying is now all around us, but in a very subdued manner.
Two friends meet up after a while and one of them begins bullying the other one with embarrassing anecdotes. Just when things seem to take a turn for the worse, the cool twist makes the video a heart-warming one instead of something that would be a bitter experience.
The screenplay is a crisp, strong one and therefore keeps the audience engaged throughout the short duration of the video. The performances are also good enough, and make you hate and like the characters in an instant. This is short film direction done right – one of the better short films that we have seen in recent times.
What’s Wow: The direction and the performances are nicely set up. The crisp screenplay makes the viewing all the better.
What’s Blah: Nothing.
Parting Shot: A nice video.
