Malayalam superstar Nivin Pauly plays himself in the short film No Go Tell explaining the difference between “good touch” and “bad touch” to a group of children in a park. He speaks to them about the private parts of the human body. The actor repeatedly tells them that in case anyone touches them, even the doctor, in the absence of their parents, they should shout, “No”, leave the spot and report to five adults that they trust.

What’s wow? This short by Bodhini Metropolis Charitable Trust with support from Muthoot Pappachan Foundation is a great initiative to bring about a change through sex education. The film beautifully elucidates how nothing should be left to confusion for the kids.

What’s blah:  Of course there is no room for criticism as I cannot appreciate enough the importance of an awareness film like this.

Parting shot: The film has been shot candidly, with the children reacting to Nivin in a very organic manner. The conversation is clear cut and sends out a message which is important for every parent/guardian to understand.
