  • Blossom’s unclear ending will reignite your faith in love
  • Himani Shivpuri plays an intriguing character

With so many short film creators hitting the streaming platforms, we are bound to have fresh, new and unique content. Blossom, starring Himani Shivpuri, who is most well known for being the sadistic jailor in the Madhuri Dixit starrer Anjaam, is an ageing woman who lives with only a plant for company. The reason of the love connection between them isn’t revealed, and that adds to the mystique of the ongoings.

What’s Wow: Actors will tell you how difficult it is to make a good single actor starrer. You need an actor of calibre, and Himani Shivpuri is right at home with this requirement. She is the epitome of a concept that we’ve seen since a while now, urban loneliness, requited and unending love. The unclear ending adds much more to the film than ten songs that are basically time-fillers in a mainstream film.

What’s Blah: Nothing

Parting Shot: Blossom is a good watch for the die-hard fans of love.
