The short film Amma Meri is going places and how. The film made by Tarun Jain, has been doing rounds at various film festivals and it is now all set to have its European Premiere.
The short has recently made it to Tampere Film Festival in International Competition to be held in Finland, which will also mark its European Premiere. This is one of the 89th festivals of the world which qualifies for Oscars. Out of 3,500 entries, Amma Meri is the only film from India which qualified for International Competition.

Prior to this, Amma Meri has been part of other film festivals such as International Documentary and Short Film Festival (in Competition); International Film Festival of India (in Indian Panorama, non- feature category) and Mumbai International Film Festival.
