The web always attracts a lot of Bollywood attention, and the most recent Bollywood celebrity to have been bitten by the digital bug is Shilpa Shetty Kundra. The show, to stream on Amazon Prime Video, will be a dating web series titled Hear Me. Love Me and will explore the world of young Indian women in pursuit of true love. It will take a fresh perspective on love, romance and redefine the concept of dating altogether.
The concept of the show will entail sending young women between the age of 21 and 32 on three blind dates within a day, following which they will be quizzed about the pros and cons of their potential partners.
The edgy show will have one catch however. The participating lady will not be allowed to leave the room where she gets to meet her dates, thus ruling out the possibility of ruling out a person simply on the basis of how they look. Furthermore, the lady in question won’t get to see the face of her potential romantic interest. Hear Me. Love Me. was originally devised by FremantleMedia’s Israeli production company Abot Hameiri.
The potential bachelors, who will get to meet the lady, will be wearing cameras around their necks. Hence the name – Hear Me, Love Me. The show has already been aired and received well among seven other countries around the globe but it remains to be seen whether it works in India with Shilpa Shetty at the helm.
