Sharman Joshi and Asha Negi celebrate Gudi Padwa on the sets ALTBalaji’s upcoming web-series ‘Baarish – Mood for some love’

Bringing in the festival of good luck and hope on the occasion of the Maharashtrian/Marathi New Year, the lead cast of ALTBalaji’s upcoming web-series “Baarish- Mood for some love” Sharman Joshi and Asha Negi celebrated Gudi Padwa together on the sets. The actors were seen in a traditional celebratory fervour where they created the Gudi and worshipped it. Asha, who will be seen playing a Marathi mulgi in the show, seems to have gotten under the skin of her character having a heartfelt time during the proceedings. Not only this, keeping up with true Marathi tradition, both Sharman and Asha relished the local recipe Puran Poli, adding to the festivities.

Commenting on the festivity, actor Sharman Joshi saidGudi Padwa is one such festival which indeed brings immense positivity and hope to one and all. This is the first time where  I am celebrating it in a traditional way and it feels nothing less than rejuvenating. There is a first time for everything, as Asha and I are coming together for the very first time on screen. I am looking forward to it. I have seen her work and really admire her talent.”

On the occasion, Asha Negi saidIt feels great to be celebrating Gudi Padwa, which signifies the Maharashtrian New Year in the true traditional manner.  What else can be a better way than this to seek blessings for our upcoming show Baarish. With the New Year, we both are starting our new journey in the digital space and I hope viewers will keep showering their love and blessings like the way they have been doing so far.”

In the show, Sharman Joshi will be playing the protagonist ‘Anuj’ and joining him in this eternal love saga as his love interest is the talented actress Asha Negi.  Baarish is a journey of two strangers who have always prioritized family over their lives and how they develop a feeling of love & respect for each other on their challenging journey.
