
The digital audiences recently witnessed Bhagwan Rajneesh aka Osho’s life and the many controversies surrounding it in a Netflix series – Wild Wild Country. And now Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt will star in a web series on the famous godman’s life.
Kapoor and Sons’ director Shakun Batra is now enamored by Rajneesh’s life and buzz is that it will be for an international streaming service. Wild Wild Country streamed on Netflix, you can read its review here. Going by that information, chances are that Amazon Prime maybe the international streaming service that shall premiers Shakun’s web series.
Aamir and Alia will be sharing screen space for the very first time in their lives with this project. Previously, there were rumours that Karan Johar was to make a film on the life of Rajneesh.
Interestingly, the Netflix series Wild Wild Country showcased the international community, Rajneeshpuram, in Oregon, USA that was set up by Osho’s followers. The series has been appreciated by a lot of B-town celebrities.
