A few months ago, Indian audiences were flabbergasted at the concept and details in Wild, Wild Country, a web series that revealed all about Bhagwan Rajneesh (Osho) and Ma Anand Sheela. Now, there are rumours that Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt have been roped in for an Indian adaptation of the web series.

According to the rumors, Aamir will be playing Rajneesh and Alia Bhatt will be playing Ma Anand Sheela. It’s also rumoured that the series will be produced by Aamir Khan Productions.  Shakun Batra will be directing the web series.   With this, three of the biggest names from mainstream Bollywood will come to the streaming platforms. This will be the first time that Aamir, Alia and Shakun work with the Big N.

Aamir Khan will next be seen in the megastarrer Thugs of Hindostan, in which he shares credits with Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Zaira Wasim.

While these rumours seem too good to be true, it’s not out of the realms of possibility. Earlier, Netflix was home to the Sunny Leone documentary, Mostly Sunny. A year later, Zee5 launched their cinematic documentary on Sunny Leone’s life, Karenjit Kaur: The Untold story of Sunny Leone.
