‘Rangzen’ wins Best Documentary at Bangalore Short Film Festival ‘17

The trio of Santosh Chandrasekhaar, Aima S and Sumit Dasgupta, who made Rangzen, a documentary film on Tibetans were in for a surprise when their docuemntary on Tibetans won the best documentary for Bangalore Short Film Festival.

The documentary is extremely rare because it covers Tibetans who escaped the Chinese invasion and took refuge in India.  The trio also bagged the special jury award at the International Film Festival of Prayag, Delhi.  It won the audience award at the Feel the Reel International Film Festival in the UK in 2017.

The documentary is also the official selection at International Documentary and Short Film Festival, Kerala and the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival, 2017.
