Randeep Hooda talks about his experience of visiting Kargil, on an Instagram Live for discovery+ original Ladakh Warriors: The Sons of the Soil

Randeep Hooda, who has given voice over for the discovery+ original show ‘Ladakh Warriors: The Sons of the Soil’, recently met his fans on an Instagram Live, along with Col. Sonam Wangchuk, MVC.

When asked if he ever visited Ladakh, Randeep Hooda said, “I had visited Dras, in Kargil, to the memorial there. Wahaan per toh room se mess tak jaane me chakkar aa jaate the, because we couldn’t acclimatize properly to the weather there. It took me one complete day to adapt to the conditions there before I could go out and roam around.” Talking about the training Ladakh Scouts go through, Randeep said, “So, While I was dubbing for Ladakh Warriors: The Sons of the Soil, it was all looking very beautiful but I knew how difficult all that is to do.”

He added about his visit to Dras, “While I was there, there were a lot of troops, so we had dinner with them and there was also some singing and dancing with everyone.”
