Netflix’s Punisher wowed audiences and audiences wanted to know when the second season would go on floors. Netflix is notoriously tight lipped about when the series will begin shooting on will stream. Now, the buzz is that the Punisher series will have a six-month schedule that will start sometime at the end of February and wrap up at the end of July.
There’s a slew of rumours about various dates for Marvel series like Luke Cage, Daredevil, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. The shooting for Daredevil finishes in May. Iron Fist is still begin shot and Jessica Joes will return to screens in early March. Luke Cage and Daredevil will hit streaming screens sometime in 2018. What remains unknown is whether The Defenders will come to a second season. The Defenders was the least accepted series among audiences and we won’t be surprised if The Defenders doesn’t make the cut among all the Marvel web series that will be coming out in a while.
The future for Marvel series on Netflix is now out in the open. With Disney looking at creating a streaming platform of their own, it was unclear whether Netflix will get the rights to the other web series from the Marvel stable for streaming.
