Bollywood film maker Prakash Jha is all set to join the Bollywood bandwagon in exploring the digital medium. But unlike B-town actors, who are continuing with the same craft on the web, Prakash is trying a different art form. The director, known for his political and socio-political films, will be hosting a web series titled Sare Jahan Se Achha. Prakash’s most recent brush with digital entertainment was with a short film Justaju, in which he acted alongside Sarika, Shishir Sharma, Saharsh Kumar Shukla and many others.
The series will showcase the lives of ordinary individuals who try to create a change in the lives of many through their efforts. The teaser of the series was recently released and it guarantees that the show will be high on positivity. It seems like the show will be on the same lines as Aamir Khan hosted TV show Satyamev Jayate. Only Prakash’s show will be recognising the unsung heroes.
The series will be directed by debutant director Prakash Bhardwaj. In a media interaction he said that the series is the need of the hour as there is much negativity around us in the social media and the news. It is produced by Manish Singh (MZEE), and written by Writer – Pooja Saini.
