Pankaj Tripathi – who plays Guruji in Netflix series Sacred Games – will surely be seen more in the upcoming episodes of the web series. He will have a meatier role as compared to the barely seen scenes he had in the first season of the series. Pankaj’s role was restricted to voiceovers in the season.  Recently, the first season of the series came out which consisted of eight episodes of one hour each.

The actor recently gathered a lot of praise for his portrayal in Newton, which went on to represent India in the Oscars in the foreign film entry. He played the character of a paramilitary commander in the film. Pankaj has been seen in a list of appreciated films. The list includes names such as Omkara, Agneepath, Gangs Of Wasseypur, Fukrey, Gunday, Masaan, apart from being part of many TV shows too.

In the Netflix series, Pankaj still has a lot to offer. The series is based on the book by the same name written by Vikram Chandra. It stars Radhika Apte, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles. Saif Ali Khan also recently said that the series will be a four part series.
