After the death of Carlos Muñoz Portal, who was the location scout for Netflix series Narcos, Pablo Escobar’s brother – Roberto De Jesus Escobar Gaviria – wants Netflix to increase its security. Carlos was shot to death last week in the Hidalgo region in Mexico, while scouting for the show’s fourth season.

Roberto, now an author and co-founder of Escobar Inc., was the lead accountant and chief of hitmen for the Colombian Medellin cartel; he was arrested and later released.

A Netflix original, Narcos explored the Pablo Escobar in two seasons. Roberto had asked to view footage of the series pre-release and called a boycott of the show.

The recently released Narcos season 3, focused on Cali Cartel, who gained prominence after Pablo’s death.

Season four of the series will focus on drug cartel in Mexico – Juarez cartel – and Javier Pena, played by leading man Pedro Pascal, may not be part of the season.
