One Digital Entertainment launches 1st Indian digital food reality show India’s Digital Chef

One Digital Entertainment is all set to launch India’s first digital food reality show India’s Digital Chef (IDC).The 15 episode series will be judged by India’s top acclaimed chefs like Sanjeev Kapoor, Saransh Goila and Amrita Raichand and is expected to stream by August end. The series aims to reach out to a maximum number of food aficionados in a fun and entertaining style and is currently open for entries. From the entries, 16 contestants will be selected to fight for India’s best digital chef’s spot. The judges will select the champion on the basis of healthiness, flavours and taste.

Gurpreet Singh, COO and Co – Founder of One Digital Entertainment, had this to say about the concept of the show:  “The Internet has become the cornerstone for every contemporary need – in food, music, lifestyle, fashion, technology, and automobile. With the touch of a screen the world turns digital, searching for and consuming a wide array of content in multiple formats. Food, in specific, as a vertical has attracted a lot of online traction among both consumers and creators. With India’s Digital Chef we’re embarking on a journey to discover and showcase the multitude of unique recipes indigenous to the numerous communities of India. And, by extension, to find India’s next hero chef.”

“It’s great to have teamed up with One Digital Entertainment for the hunt of the India’s Digital Chef. We are looking for the hidden, talented, and creative and the next big Chef of India. The Digital platform is democratic and no better way to give the true chefs a real chance”, said Chef Sanjeev Kapoor on being a judge on the show.

Director of Marketing, Livpure, Mr. Sushil Matey also commented on their association saying, “For an organisation that strives to make every Indian healthy and ensure purity in their lives, we at Livpure want to reach a wider audience through this show. This is our first salvo in that direction and we are sure the show will do very well.”

Chef Amrita Raichand said, “I am very excited to a part of this show that One Digital Entertainment has conceived. Health and nutrition as a subject is very close to my heart which is why I am exuberant to be able to judge some healthy recipes coming our way and of course find India’s digital chef!”

Chef Saransh Goila who was invited as a guest judge on Masterchef Australia, also said, “I am excited to be a part of India’s digital chef because I started my journey through maha challenge 7 years back and 7 years later, I have an opportunity to find young people who are active digitally and whom digital India would want to see. One Digital Entertainment has conceptualised a fantastic show to find the best digital chef and it’s quite an honour to be a part of this journey.”
