Everyone enjoys a good laugh and Netflix knows that presenting more funny content will definitely help it build a good subscriber base. Increasing its comedy content further, the streaming service has roped in big names from the Hollywood comedy to make a series. Steve Martin and Martin Short are all set to bring their ongoing standup show on the streaming platform.
Steve Martin took to Twitter to announce this Netflix show. He posted a video and tweeted – “Okey dokey. Here’s a video with Marty and me talking about our new Netflix special coming this summer! Now we’re like Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle except for the pay!”

Directed by Marcus Raboy and executive produced by Martin, Short, Lorne Michaels, Erin David and Marc Gurvitz; the show – Steve Martin and Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life – will come to Netflix sometime later in the year. It was recently taped in Greenville.
What exactly can one expect from the show? Well, the show will be high on comedy and will include musical sketched and conversations about the illustrated careers of the duo Steve and Martin and some other memorable events from their careers.
Besides these two, there are some other legends associated with the show as well. Grammy-winning bluegrass band the Steep Canyon Rangers and jazz pianist of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Fame band member Jeff Babko are part of the show.
