Divyendu Sharma achieves two landmarks with his role in Mirzapur. One, he broke clichés of being just the urban, suave boy next door and created a mark for himself in the world of genre story telling. Some reviewers have critiqued that Divyendu is out of place as the devil-may-care because of his look, but that’s exactly what works for him. Divyendu brings to the fore the ‘dynamite-that’ll-snap-anytime’ quality and surprisingly manages to bring out a soft side of it all too.
