Suburra is a Netflix mafia series set in Rome

Netflix is coming up with it’s first Italian co-production is here. Titled Suburra, the series will be set in Rome and talk about the mafia presence in Rome by talking about a made man – mafia parlance for a Don – in a ten episode series.  The series is produced by RAI and Italian independent production company Cattleya.  The series is based on a novel by two journalists, Carlos Bonini and Giancarlo De Catado. Suburra talks about a plan to turn Ostia into a new Las Vegas.
