TheDigitalHash.com finally has some good news for House of Cards fans. The producers of this Netflix Original, Media Rights Capital, have stated in a letter that production will be on hold until December 8.
The production hiatus was announced after the lead actor Kevin Spacey was accused of sexual misconduct. Actor Anthony Rapp, The Star Trek: Discovery star revealed that, at age 14, Kevin made inappropriate sexual advances towards him. This revelation was followed by similar accusation by several past and present House of Cards crew members. Rumours mills are buzz that Kevin’s character will suffer an onscreen death, to do away with the need to replace Kevin as Frank Underwood.
TheDigitalHash.com also reported that Netflix distanced itself from Gore, a biopic based on the life of writer Gore Vidal directed by Michael Hoffman and starred Kevin.
