Netflix has revealed that it has crossed the 300 million viewers’ landmark recently, all thanks to families with multiple profiles. This was revealed by Todd Yellin, VP of Product Innovation, Netflix in a media interaction.
Globally, Netflix got 65% of viewing on a TV, 20% on a mobile device (with phone percentage moving up, and tablet down), and 15% on a computer. Todd further revealed that the streaming giant has mapped 2,000 distinct taste communities within its viewers to better target suggestions across the globe.
Netflix is surely on a roll. TheDigitalHash.com has already reported that the company will raise another $1.6 billion to finance its line-up of new films and shows by issue of bonds to investors. It currently has an impressive 104 million paying accounts.
