Netflix to raise another $1.6bn to finance new films and shows

Netflix is taking the streaming scene to another level. TheDigitalHash.com has already reported that the streaming giant will release over 30 animated and 80 films next year. As per its latest announcement, the company will raise another $1.6 billion to finance its line-up of new films and shows by issue of bonds to investors.

The money will be used for strategic transactions, which may include acquisitions. This is the fourth time in three years that the streaming giant is looking for fundraising.

We have already reported that Netflix raised its prices in USA recently. Globally, it has more than 109 million subscribers after the addition of 15.5 million subscribers this year.

Currently, one of the most anticipated Netflix series is all set to stream. Stranger Things Season 2 will stream this Friday, October 27.
