Fiction meeting fact in a web series is always a good thing. It’s not just an audience favorite but also something that creates a platform for questions to be asked about what’s a public perception of a fact. The Netflix original Mindhunter is one just series. The fictional series is based on the early days of forensic science in America and how the FBI became one of the best investigating agencies. Mindhunter tells us about how two FBI agents, Holden Ford and Bill Tench, based on the real-life characters of John Douglas and Robert Ressler. These two have been credited to add psychological aspects to a murder.
What’s Hot: Mindhunter could be the first web series to take a reel/real look at real crime. The series is well written and is the storyline is a perfect blend of emotions, crime and psychology. The characters are well written and the performers do a great job of bringing them on to the screen. But what really engages the audience is the storyline – based on the interactions between the authorities and some of the most brutal serial killers in the country.
What’s Blah: We couldn’t find anything negative with the series.
