Netflix is creating not just entertaining but thought-provoking content as well.  Even a superhero web series like Black Lightning is taking on the alleged rampant racism in the world. So, it was no surprise when Dear White People debut, and it wasn’t a surprise when the second season for the web series hit the streaming platform. This is our complete review of the second season of the web series based on school children, Dear White People 2.

Dear White People 2 is a web series about a group of school children who are experiencing racism for not the first time, but at least so blatantly for the first time. Along with racism, the series handles several issues that teenagers face nowadays – including unwanted pregnancies and abortions and other-race boyfriends, school yard bullying, all that and more.

What’s Wow: Dear White People is billed as a comedy all over the Internet, but it is much more than that. The web series has the emotional heft that will keep the audience interested. All the characters are well written and get enough breathing space to create an impact on the audience. Nobody with a heart will come out of this series binge without feeling that things need to change and things to change fast.

What’s Blah: Nothing

Parting Shot: Dear White People raises an important question for the audiences today, a must watch.
