Orson Welles is one of the most critically acclaimed directors of all time. In his later years, things didn’t go very well with him – and looks like Netflix is trying to bring that part of his life to the audiences.
Netflix has dropped the trailer of They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead, a documentary on the last fifteen years of Orson Welles’ life. This concept is unique, because the documentary is about a film, and the film will be available on Netflix soon.
So, audiences will get a unique chance to not just a watch a film but also get an understanding of how it was made. They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead gives a lot more insight into what happened while Welles was making the film. Orson Welles was infamous for his eccentric attitude in the later life, and The Other Side of the Wind was his vanity project rather than an Orson Welles film, like Citizen Kane or any of his other films. The Other Side of the Wind will premiere on November 2, 2018 on Netflix.
