Nawazuddin Siddiqui stands out in every project that he’s signed up. Whether it’s the thief in ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ or the detective in ‘Mom’, the screen lights up whenever Nawaz does. Now, Nawaz will be seen in a literally otherworldly role. He plays a man from Mars in the upcoming short film, ‘Carbon’. Jackky plays the role of a person who has an artificial heart.

During a media interaction, Nawazuddin said that he was very excited about playing the role of a man from Mars. He also said that he loved the idea of working in a film that decided to tackle environmental issues. The short,  based in 2067 has an amazing starcast. Beginning with Jackky as the main protagonist,  it stars Prachi Desai and Yashpal Sharma.

The makers will screen the film at the IIFA Weekend and Awards in New York sometime later this week. In a statement, Jackky said that his film, Carbon, deals with the various environmental issues and their impact on the world – like global warming and climate change.

Jackky is active in the short film genre. He earlier presented the short film, ‘Battery’, that launched sometime around Mother’s Day.
