National Geographic has made a foray into scripted short films as part of its ‘Mission Blue’ initiative by bringing under it’s roof talented film-makers Aniruddha Roy Chaudhury, Imtiaz Ali, Hansal Mehta and Madhur Bhandarkar to address the cause of water scarcity in India.

One week after the successful launch of the National Geographic Mission Blue initiative, the films PaaniPath, Paani Panchayat, Baiju Bulli and Ek Balti Paani have premiered online yesterday on missionblue.in and Hotstar. The films bring out awareness on the crucial topic through everyday stories from India.

The details of all four films have been discussed in our last feature  with reference to the trailers launched by Mission Blue.

Patrons can log in to www.hotstar.com/tv/mission-blue/13924 to watch the movies and take a pledge to save water.
