Cheers, anguish, and excitement returned at the hottest award night of the year as MTV Movie & TV Awards honoured bestowed the badge of G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) to the most mind-blowing films and TV shows from the 80’s right up to 2020. The one-off special ceremony witnessed the dazzling red carpet return after nearly one year as Emila In Paris star Lilly Collin, Derek Hough, Sabrina Carpenter, Peyton List & others swooned over fans worldwide with their glamorous attires. Hosted by Vanessa Hudgens, the 90 minute fiesta witnessed larger than life performances by Sia, Steve Aoki, and Travis Beller and a sneak-peek into the most awaited films of 2021 including Gal Gadot’s ‘Wonder Woman 1984’. Robert Downey Jr and Don Cheadle honour the late Chadwick Boseman: In an emotional moment during the award night, actors Robert Downey Jr and Don Cheadle paid homage to the late Chadwick Boseman. The actor posthumously received the Hero of the Ages title during which Robert Downey Jr defined him as an ‘on screen icon and true superhero’. Don Cheadle mentioned of his incredible power to unify people terming it as his legacy.
Sia introduces a boy to her yard: In a power packed performance at the fiesta, Sia introduced fans to “Hey Boy”, the first single of her upcoming eight studio album! The beats of the song

Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar recreate their iconic Cruel Intentions Kiss Behind Glass: 20 years after winning the ‘Best Kiss’ at the MTV Movie & TV Awards for their 1999 film ‘Cruel Intentions’, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair claimed feat once again as their famous moment was crowned as the ‘Legendary Lip Lock’ at the ceremony. Gellar jokingly said that theirs is now the “single-most awarded kiss in cinema history while the duo jokingly recreated the iconic moments behind glass emphasizing on the importance of social distancing.
Steve Aoki & Travis Barker’s stunning performance to wrap up the gala: While Steve & Travis teased fans throughout the night with little snippets, they closed the ceremony with a larger than life performance of Joe Esposito’s “You’re the Best” from the 1984 Karate Kid soundtrack, in honor of William Zabka’s GOAT: Zero to Hero prize. Aoki and Barker played a remixed version of the song — which soundtracks the karate tournament montage in the hit movie — wearing full skeleton bodysuits
